MAY 16, 1996: The history it represents took 100 years to create, but the Whitehall Centennial Quilt took only about a decade. While that may seem like a long time to make one quilt, the reason for the delay is apparent from the intricacy of the quilt. Six years after Whitehall’s centennial, the quilt was presented to the Jefferson Valley Museum Monday to be exhibited when the museum opens May 25.
