Fatal Traffic Incident on Second Street

Jefferson County Sheriff Craig Doolittle informed the Whitehall Ledger of a fatal traffic incident, which occurred Sunday, August 15 around 8 p.m. on Second Street in Whitehall.

The victim, an adult male whose name has not been released, died shortly after receiving CPR at the scene.

Doolittle said the incident, which is believed to have begun as a domestic situation which escalated into the involvement of a vehicle, is being investigated. Further details will be provided at a later date.
