IMPRESSED: Whitehall alumni Anna Nelson looks shocked at the move junior Miles Hoerauf has put on his Townsend opponent.

Whitehall first hosted Columbus for a dual on Thursday night. Whitehall came out on top 48-24. Highlights during that match were victories by pin from Issacc Skogen, Ivar Radcliffe, Gavin Watson, Dane Hoover, Miles Hoerauf, and Leo Scafani.

The tournament ran Friday and Saturday. Teams competing were Billings West JV, Townsend, Boulder, Conrad, Columbus, Skyview JV, Fergus County JV, Butte High JV, Bozeman JV, Dillon, Anaconda, Billings Senior JV, Great Falls High JV, Belgrade, Gallatin JV, Capital High JV, Three Forks, Conrad, CMR JV and Whitehall.

During Friday's pool competition, Whitehall gained victories over Skyview (66-6), Fergus (66-6), Butte JV (69-0), and Bozeman JV (66-6). Saturday the top teams from each pool competed in a bracketed tournament. Whitehall started with a 53-18 win over Conrad. We then fell to Boulder 30-42. This was followed by a 54-21 win over Townsend and close 39-36 win over Billings West to earn third. We had some solid matches from our upperclassmen and great improvements and key wins from the younger wrestlers.

Overall weekend records:
