Two Long-Time Businesses Make Big Changes

Whitehall residents may have noticed a new empty space on Legion Avenue in the past few weeks. In December Cottage Floral, owned by Deb Dulaney, vacated its location in Whitehall. However, Cottage Floral has not gone out of business; Dulaney is still taking orders and will make arrangements for pick up with her clients.

"I want my customers to know I greatly appreciate all of your support," Dulaney said, adding that she may be reached during business hours at (406) 490-4430.

Another business making a big change, though sadly leaving the area, is Frankie's Country Mex restaurant, which will close its doors permanently on Monday, January 17, 2022.

Charles (Frankie) and Priscilla Frankenstein, owners of Frankie's, are making the move to Lincoln, NE where they will establish a restaurant.

Frankenstein said that the opportunity basically fell into their laps and is something that could not ignore.

"I want to thank everyone for their support," Frankenstein said.

Frankie's will be open Fridays and Saturdays: 8 AM-6 PM, and Sundays and Mondays: 8 AM -4 PM until their closure on the 17th.

"We will miss you all, and we couldn't have made this move without you. So if you are ever traveling through Lincoln, Kansas, we hope you will stop in and say hello," Frankie said.
