On January 15 and 16 the Whitehall Independent Pool League (WIPL) hosted the 19th Annual Memorial Pool Tournament. The tournament is held in memory of Cory Bishop, Steve Dyson, and Dave McLaughlin.

The tournament started with 62 teams from throughout the state. After all-day play and into the night on Saturday 12 teams returned on Sunday to compete for the win.

Wade Thompson (left) from Great Falls and Seth King (right) from Bozeman played Mike Conrad and John Heath both from Helena for the Championship. Thompson and King won the tournament.
