Paul’s letter to the Philippians is called “the letter of joy” because its tone reveals a tenderness in Paul that other writings do not. Again, it clarifies that being imprisoned for preaching Jesus as Lord and Savior makes this a favorite epistle, and thus moves me to write and preach on this theme.
