Whitehall Schools Show No Lead; While Others Around State Suffer Dangerous Levels

 


Editor’s Note: The Whitehall Ledger contacted Whitehall Schools Superintendent Hannah Nieskens about the below article, as several individuals had sent it to the paper, questioning what Whitehall’s lead rates were.

“In fall 2021, Whitehall School Director of Maintenance, Scott Prevost, gathered water samples from all of the campus water fixtures and sent them to Bridger Analytical Lab for lead analysis; we received our results on January 28th. The results information has not yet shown up on the states’ DEQ website,” said Nieskens.
