Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Sigrid Cleona Parker, born to Sigrid Foster and Fredrick Cline on May 17, 1954, in Arcadia, California, passed away on March 10, 2022. She was a devout Christian who later went out to become a chef in the Navy.
Sigrid (Sid) married her best friend and love of her life Raleigh Eugene Parker on October 20, 1973. They had three children: Michelle Parker, Heather Moore, and William Parker.
In 2001-2002 they went to retire in Whitehall, Montana and this is where they stayed after their children went to create their own families.
She was such a selfless, caring mother who raised her children to have those same values. She was a great chef, a musician, and an artist. She taught herself how to play the 12 string acoustic guitar in her youth and in her spare time she enjoyed oil painting, sewing, and just about every craft you can think of. However, her favorite thing to do was host family events so she could cook great food for her family. She loved to make others happy.
Sigrid had the kindest heart and a great sense of humor. She was truly one of a kind. She had a free soul and enjoyed the finer things in life such as music, nature, art, and of course, her flowery dresses. She will be missed dearly by her loved ones.
Sigrid is survived by her husband Raleigh Parker; their children Michelle Parker, Heather Moore and her husband Robert Moore, William Parker and his wife Misty Parker; grandchildren Raleigh Moore, Jole Moore, Trenton McClain, Jessica Testorff, Alexandria Parker, Zackary Parker, and Leyla Parker; great-grandchildren Jaxson McClain, Maddox Morton, and baby-on-the-way Cleona Moore. She is preceded in death and will be joined in heaven by her grandson, Alan Moore.
She will be remembered most for how outspoken and funny she was, alongside how well she took care of everyone, whether she was cooking for them or just simply loving them. May she rest in peace.
