Dear Editor: Murals Project Moving Forward

Good news! The project to do restoration of the Whitehall Murals is continuing! The first mural to be restored will be the mural located at the Jefferson Fresh Foods. As I’m sure you can imagine there are significant costs to restore that specific mural.

In order to facilitate financial contributions to the mural restoration, the Whitehall Chamber has reached a fiscal sponsorship agreement with the Jefferson Valley Community Foundation. This structure creates an opportunity for those who would like to support the mural restoration project financially to have their contribution be tax-deductible.

In order for contributions to be tax-deductible certain requirements must be met. Checks MUST be made out to JVCF and in the memo of the check, Mural Restoration must be noted. Checks can be sent or dropped off at the Whitehall Chamber office. The mailing address is Whitehall Chamber, 501 N. Whitehall St., Whitehall, Mt. 59759.
