SEARCH AND RESCUE VISIT: JVSR taught hiking safety to library children last week. They also taught participants how to make pocket survival kits. for their hiking packs.

There was such a positive response to the Teen Mental Health First Aid Training that we are going to offer it again in May. The eight-hour training will be from 8 AM to 5 PM on Friday, May 6 at the Library. Lunch and snacks will be provided and the training is free to any adult who has contact with teenagers or children. It covers different mental health issues, how to identify them, and what to do next. There are also sections on suicide and addiction.
