Dear Editor and the Voters of Jefferson County,

I am writing to express my strong support for maintaining the Jefferson County Weed District's 3-mill levy.

As a property owner in Jefferson County, I have personally benefited from the current mill levy program. The cost-sharing assistance for herbicides has made it both practical and affordable to actively manage noxious weeds on my land. Species such as cheatgrass, Canada thistle, leafy spurge, toadflax, and mullein are persistent and highly invasive, and without this support, effective control would be significantly more difficult and costly....
