Whitehall Community Theatre Presents: An Experiment

Portrayed in a fantasy world, five confused participants wake up with no memory of their past life...with only one word, a personality descriptor written in type on their shirts. The doctor explains that each is here willingly and that they are all being compensated for their participation in a research study.

Will the assigned attribute of each participant affect their behavior when under extreme duress? Once the experiment begins and they find out that to lose is to die, all five do what they must to survive the experiment.

The Hunger Games meets Survivor in this experiment.

An Experiment will be presented Saturday, June 18 at 2 PM and Sunday, June 19 at 2 PM at the Star Theatre. Tickets ar $5 per person.

The cast includes Whitehall locals Dorie Westhoven as Dr. Soles, Amelia Schober as Egon, Pati McLaughlin as Compassionate, Terry Chadwick as Orderly, Pamala Bowen as Impulsive, Kerry Wafer as Courageous, and Butte resident Kaitlyn Aguiles as Devious. Chiara Schober, Lillian Schober, and Liz Pullman also make an appearance.

The play is directed by Ron Jung, with assistance from Liz Pullman. Eric the Excellent, a fencing instructor from Butte, assisted in coordinating a sword fight scene.

Kylie Hansen has graciously assisted in making the T-shirts needed to display each character's outstanding attributes.

An Experiment is the first play presented by Whitehall's new Community Theatre group, with more plays slated to be presented in the future. If you are interested in participating at any level, please reach out to Gold Junction Presents at 406-498-3807 or goldjunctionpresents@gmail.com.
