Whitehall's Christmas Events Begin Next Wednesday, Carry Through Weekend

The holidays are upon us and Whitehall is a bustling place to be in the upcoming weeks! Don’t miss out on all the fun, which begins on Wednesday, the 8th, and leads right up to Christmas and New Years!

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5 and WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7: WHS Madrigal Dinner at 6:30 PM in the multi-purpose room. Festivities include music, dancing, contests, skits, and medieval meal. $30 per person, contact school at 287-3462 for tickets.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8: Arctic Heat Ladies Christmas Cookie and Gift Exchange. Bring three dozen of your finest cookies, a wrapped gift to exchange ($15 limit), and your holiday spirit! Held at the Assembly of God Church from 7-9 PM, please RSVP to Carey Burnside at 406-202-3460 or acticheat2017@aol.com.

Also, the free Christmas movie series begins at the Star Theatre on the 8th at 7 PM with Scrooged.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9: The Whitehall Christmas Festival kicks off with the Parade of Lights. Meet at 5:45 PM at the lighted Mickey Mouse on the Main Street Green, then join the parade to view all the decorated homes around town. Nominate your favorites now to get them on the map - contact the Whitehall Chamber today at 406-287-2260.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10: The Christmas fun really gets underway with the annual Whitehall Christmas Festival (previously named the Whitehall Christmas Stroll). Vendors abound at the Whitehall Community Center from 10 aM to 5 PM, Wreath Auction voting will be held at the Community Center, with the auction taking place at 7 PM in the Mint Bar, Business Bingo around town all day, Veteran’s Chili Feed at the Community Center, Kids Christmas Carnival (tentatively planned for the United Methodist Church) from noon to 4 PM. Santa, crafts, and refreshments will be held at the Library, along with their annual Friends Reception and much more!

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14: Whitehall Ledger’s Nightmare Before Christmas Party at the Star Theatre at 6 PM. Come see a classic movie in your jammies or favorite festive wear - food and drinks provided!

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15: Free showing of It’s a Wonderful Life at the Star Theatre at 7 PM.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21: Whitehall PTSA & 21st Century free showing of Home Alone at Star Theatre and dinner, card making, and more. Doors open at 4:30 PM, movie at 6 PM.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22: Free showing of Elf at the Star Theatre at 7 PM.
