The Whitehall Ledger - Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Anyone who was born after January 1, 1985, and wants to purchase or apply for a Montana hunting license must first pass a Hunter Education class. Anyone aged 10 and older can take the course. Students must attend all classes and pass a written exam and field day exercise. Students must pre-register at the MT FWP website. There is no fee for the class.

Classes will be held at the Whitehall Community Center on March 14 (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM), March 23 (6:30 PM - 9 PM, March 24 (6:30 PM - 9 PM), March 25 (8:30 AM - 4 PM) and March 26 will be a field day (1 PM - 3:30 PM).
