Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Graham Takes on Executive Director Position at JLDC

The Jefferson Local Development Corporation has selected Lindsey Graham of Basin as its next Executive Director, replacing Eric Seidensticker, who recently resigned.

Graham has served admirably as JLDC's child care coordinator for the past year, according to Nick Hensleigh, JLDC President. "Not only has she coordinated the development of childcare centers in Boulder and Whitehall, but she has also assisted with other economic development projects throughout the county," said Hensleigh. "She is a dynamic and versatile employee who quickly learns new material. Lindsey will be a great fit for JLDC and Jefferson County residents."

Gary Carlson of Clancy, JLDC's Secretary-Treasurer and a selection panel member, was impressed with Graham's "can-do" attitude, her knowledge of the current JLDC projects, and her commitment to Jefferson County's economic development needs.

"She is interested in this position for all the right reasons," said Carlson. "I am particularly interested in her interest in leading longer-term strategic planning for the corporation."

"I had an opportunity to work closely with Lindsey in her efforts to develop the Boulder childcare center, which should open in mid-March," said Drew Dawson (Boulder), Vice President of JLDC and President of Southwest Montana Youth Partners, Inc. "I know she is a hard worker and works effectively with a Board of Directors. JLDC is an organization that stimulates economic development within the county. Promoting from within the organization and from Jefferson County is particularly exciting."

Lindsey resides in Basin with her husband, Dustin, and two girls, Hailee and Aria. She participates in community activities, including representing Basin on the Jefferson High School Board. "I want to see Jefferson County grow but maintain the security and history of our county. We have a large population returning to Jefferson county because they know it is a safe place to raise their family", said Lindsey in accepting her new position.

Lindsey received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and has worked in various childcare and child support positions in the continental United States and Hawaii.

Jefferson Local Development Corporation promotes the general welfare of Jefferson County through the promotion of economic development.
