Clarification on Black Tie Blue Jean from Chamber

The Whitehall Chamber’s annual fundraiser, Black Tie Blue Jeans (BTBJ), has been the topic of many discussions recently, though a lot of misinformation has transpired.

The BTBJ fundraiser is not up for grabs or leaving the Chamber’s control. The Chamber has ended its fiscal sponsorship with JVCF to put the control of the event entirely under the Chamber’s umbrella, including the creation of a Friends of the Chamber 501c3. BTBJ will live on in some form in the fall - the Chamber is revamping and revitalizing the event; the event is not disappearing, though it will be significantly different in the future.
