PTSA to Support Field Trips, Sensory Wall, More

It was an exciting April meeting for the Whitehall PTSA as they voted on what to support with their recently acquired funds from the very successful Whitehall PTSA Hoe Down which brought in about $1,000, as well as the PTSA Money Wars, which brought in about $2,000.

Elementary Principal Kurtis Koenig made a formal request for fuel funds for May field trips, which spurred a discussion that a form needs to be made available for all teachers, K-12, to submit support requests.

"The PTSA isn't just for the elementary," PTSA President Kylie Hansen said. "We need to get the word out."

SUPPORT APPROVED:

•$831 to cover field trip fuel costs above budget.

•$600 for sensory path wall decals.

•$168 for recess balls

$180 for an incubator, chick starter, and platform stand.

The next meeting will be held May 2 at 3:30 PM in the WHS Teacher's lounge.
