Dear Editor,
Wildfire smoke due to fires in Canada is causing unhealthy air quality in some parts of Montana. Follow local air quality updates and guidelines at Montana Todays Air (mtdeq.us).
Wildfire smoke affects everyone, however, certain populations have an increased risk of adverse effects. Individuals with chronic conditions may be at increased risk of respiratory or cardiac complications. Children, pregnant people, and seniors are also at greater risk.
