Museum Offers History Tours by Bus During Frontier Days

The Jefferson Valley Museum will be offering their annual historic bus tour during Frontier Days, July 28th and 29th. There are three tour times on Friday (1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5:30 PM) and one on Saturday (2 PM). Each is limited to a maximum of 10 people.

The tour involves getting off/on the bus twice and walking on uneven ground. Tickets are $10 each. A minimum of four seats occupied is required for each time slot to cover the cost of fuel and maintenance for the bus from Whitehall Public Transportation.

Stops will be made at the Tebay Cabin on the Salvagni Ranch, Cardwell, and the Cardwell/South Boulder Cemetery. This is the final time this particular tour will be offered.

Tickets may be purchased at the Jefferson Valley Museum daily between noon and 4 PM. The tour starts and ends at the museum and takes 1.5 hours. For more information about the museum, visit their website at http://www.jeffersonvalleymuseum.org
