Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Join Sherre Mead, owner of Numb3rs Accounting & Tax, and her team in raising money for suicide prevention via the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Mead and her team will be joining hundreds of thousands of people across the country who are walking in the Out of the Darkness Community Walks to prevent suicide and support AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. Mead's team will be participating in the September 10, 2023 walk in Bozeman, walking in honor of Dylen Carter Mead.
You can help Mead and her team to reach their goal by scanning the below QR code or visiting her AFSP event page (bit.ly/3qB8QdN). All donations are 100% tax deductible and benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
To fully achieve its mission, AFSP engages in the following Five Core Strategies:
1) Fund scientific research
2) Offer educational programs for professionals
3) Educate the public about mental disorders and suicide prevention
4) Promote policies and legislation that impact suicide and prevention
5) Provide programs and resources for survivors of suicide loss and people at risk, and involve them in the work of the Foundation.
"I will be walking along with family and friends in honor of Dylen to raise money for Suicide Prevention," Mead said. "My goal is to be able to help as many people as possible who are struggling to get the help they so desperately need. We are remembering Dylen Carter Mead."
