Prepare Yourself for Fall Festival Fun

It's that time of the year again! The leaves are beginning to fall and Whitehall's Annual Fall Festival is a just a few short weeks away! Start planning now! The festivities will be held throughout town on Saturday, September 23.

VENDORS: The Whitehall Chamber has MANY more spaces available this year, as the Fall Festival vendor spaces will utilize both sides of the Whitehall Community Center. While the Chamber and its volunteer coordinators will be able to accommodate a very large number of vendors, they do however, reserve the right to limit the number of businesses with the same product, service, or profession. Get your vendor application in as soon as possible! Applications are available at bit.ly/3RfdsBz. Please take or mail your registration form WITH payment to the Chamber office (501 North Whitehall Street, Whitehall, MT 59759). Registration forms received without payment will NOT be reserved. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis.

COSTUME SWAP: Since the Fall Festival is earlier than usual this year, Gold Junction Presents is excited to host the first ever Screams Come True Costume Swap! Bring your child to the Main Street Green on Saturday, September 23 to find that perfect costume for the Halloween season. Costumes will be sizes newborn to XL youth.

Have some old costumes sitting around collecting spiderwebs? Donate them to the swap and make someone's day! Contact Liz Pullman at 406-498-3807 for more information.

BUSINESS SCARECROW CONTEST: The Whitehall Chamber will hold its second annual Business Scarecrow Contest over the month of September, with winners announced at the Fall Festival.

The first 30 businesses to register will be eligible to win prizes! Two prizes will be awarded: Judge's Choice & People's Choice.

Scarecrow Contest Rules:

• You must sign up to participate - contact the Whitehall Chamber at 406-287-2260 or whitehallmtchamber@gmail.com and let us know you want to be a part of the fun.

• Scarecrow needs to be displayed in the storefront business by September 16th.

• Scarecrows can not be more than 6 feet tall.

• Old-fashioned scarecrow preferred.

The contest ends on September 23 for the Fall Festival and winners will be announced.

PIE AUCTION AND PIE BY THE SLICE

The Whitehall Garden Club will once again host a pie auction for local non-profit organizations, as well, as a chance to taste pie by the slice. This annual event will be held in the Whitehall Community Center during vendor hours, or as pies last!

GJP CARNIVAL

Gold Junction Presents will host its third annual GJP Carnival, an opportunity for other organizations to make a little money while having a lot of fun! Here's the gist: sign up for a carnival game and decide how many tickets it will cost to play your game (1, 2, or 3). GJP will sell $1 tickets at the ticket booth; when you have someone play your game, collect the appropriate amount of tickets and mark your organization's name on the back. Make sure to provide some prizes for your participants!

At the end of the night, tickets will be collected and counted. Your organization will receive 75% of the money collected and the other 25% will go to Gold Junction Presents for future arts and cultural presentations! It's a win-win for all involved!
