Rocky Mountain Bank Wants to Help Protect You From Recent Scam

Rocky Mountain Bank, a division of HTLF Bank as well as many other financial institutions throughout the country and their customers, are being targeted by fraudsters posing as our fraud department to obtain your information, access your accounts online, and steal your funds by sending fraudulent transfers.

The fraudster will text you about a fake charge on your account. Once you acknowledge the text, the fraudster will contact you from a number that appears to come from Rocky Mountain Bank, a division of HTLF Bank. The fraudster will try to convince you to provide your information to obtain account information, including passcodes and tokens to access your commercial online banking profile. Once the fraudsters have this information, they will log into your online banking account to send Bill Pay transaction(s) and originate ACHs and external transfers.

RMB will never ask you to reveal your online banking details. If you receive one of these texts, do not reply or take any action suggested by the text. Please call the number on the back of your debit card or our Commercial Support team at 406.656.4216 or email tmsupport@rmbank.com, Monday - Friday: 6 AM MT - 8 PM MT.

If you think you may have sent funds to a fraudster, it is important to call Rocky Mountain Bank immediately so they can take action to help protect you and your business.
