JVM Ghost Walk Scheduled for October 5 & 12

The Jefferson Valley Museum is sponsoring its first Ghost Walk History Tour on October 5th and 12th. The walking tour will start and end at the Star Theater and cover six city blocks. Starting time will be 6:30 PM for both dates. Tour tickets can be purchased at the Whitehall Coffee Co. and must be presented at the start of the tour. The per-person cost is $10 which includes the tour and a coupon for a small drink and popcorn at the Star Theater. There is a limit of 20 people per tour. The movie is open to the public and there is no limitation to attendance.

The tour will cover some of the history of the central area of town along with some haunting details from the past and present. The walk begins at the theater, goes east to Division Street, north to First, west on First to Whitehall Street, and then back east on Legion. The Rotary Club and Jefferson Valley Museum-sponsored family movie nights start at 7:30 PM both evenings.

The movies are a great way to conclude the evening and are free to the public. Contact Arlene Weber at 406-287-3866 for additional information.
