JVCF Recognized with DAR Award

The Jefferson Valley Community Foundation of Whitehall was recognized with a Community Service award by the Oro Fino Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at the chapter’s September 9, 2023 meeting in Helena.

Board member Kristin Murphy accepted the award and spoke of some past work of the Foundation and plans for the future. The award was presented by Dorothy Oliveira, Community Service chair for Oro Fino.

Community Service awards by NSDAR are given to individuals and organizations for outstanding voluntary service. The Oro Fino chapter’s area includes Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, Meagher, and Broadwater Counties.
