Gold Junction Presents Assumes Ownership of Star Theatre Business

Gold Junction Presents (GJP) is excited to move into 2024 with many plans for movies, events, game nights, theatre, and renovation for Whitehall’s Star Theatre.

GJP consists of Colton Anderson, Ron Jung, Chiara Schober, and Elizabeth Pullman - all Whitehall residents with a love of this town, its history, its people, and the endless possibilities Whitehall’s epicenter - The Star Theatre - brings.

GJP is assuming ownership and running the business of the Star, and eventually (hopefully by mid-year) have a contract to purchase the building as well. By running the business under a non-profit entity, we can apply for more grants to bring even more activity to the theatre. By eventually owning the building, GJP can put into action their preliminary architecture report, apply for historical preservation grants, and start restoring the Star to its heyday.

GJP is currently finalizing contracts with the studios to begin providing movies once again, now that the play has been completed.
