Chamber Announces Black Tie, Blue Jeans Date, Plans for Frontier Days

At the March Whitehall Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Borden’s Conference Room on Thursday, March 14th, plans for the upcoming warmer months were discussed with vigor - especially since the weather was so lovely outside.

Black Tie Blue Jeans will return in 2024, after a hiatus in 2023, to restructure and redefine the fundraiser’s goals. The 2024 event will be held at the Whitehall Community Center on Saturday, June 15th, featuring local band Pony Express. The Chamber will begin sending bids for food to local establishments, with preference given to Chamber members, by the end of the month. Chamber Board members will begin soliciting donations shortly as well.

Stay tuned for more information on the 2024 Black Tie, Blue Jeans event, as the planning has only just begun.

Whitehall Frontier Days are always slated for the last full weekend in July, this year July 26-27, with most events occurring on Saturday. The Chamber was notified that this year would be the 20th anniversary of the Kids Tractor Pull and has decided to dedicate the pull to its creator, Don Kravik. The Chamber is also considering a vintage tractor show to accompany the pull - if you have contacts for those with vintage equipment, please get in touch with the Chamber at 406-287-2260 or whitehallmtchamber@gmail.com.
