Summer Reading & Feeding is off to a great start. Our Maker Space Explorers discovered the world of miniature robots as they set up courses for them to follow and learned how they worked. Maker Space meets every Friday at 2 PM. and is open to everyone.

Summer Feeding is from 11:15 AM-1 PM for anyone 18 and younger. There is no registration, and the meals are in sack lunch form so that they may be picked up anytime during pickup hours. This week, the lunches are all cold entrée, but next week, they will have hot entrees. Meals will be available Monday through Thursday, except on the Fourth of July, when the library will be closed for the holiday.

Memory Café has been canceled for this month as the staff cannot bring the van. We will be scheduling new programs in the near future, so watch for dates and times in August. This is a great program to help those who have memory loss or are just getting older and want to keep their memory sharp.

Next Wednesday is the puppet show. Markie will be here again to share her marvelous puppet friends. She has been traveling all over the country doing shows for decades, and the children have always loved seeing her. The show is on Wednesday, June 19th, at 10:30 AM, and lunches will be available afterward.

Rockhounding will meet at the library on Monday, June 17th, at 5:30 PM. For those who enjoy collecting rocks and fossils, this is a chance to learn what types of rocks you might have and participate in field trips.

The Mystery Book Club will meet on Tuesday, June 18th, at 5 PM to share their latest reads and learn what's new this summer. Readers will share their perspectives on everything from village mysteries to procedural police stories.

The Folk Art painting class is having so much fun that they have decided to continue it through July. If you want to join them, the class meets every Tuesday at 2 PM. The library provides all of the supplies, so anyone may come and learn this great technique!

Speaking of painting, the Preschool Art Class will meet every Tuesday at 11 AM. All little ones ages 3-6 are welcome to come and play with paints, clay, and other mediums to make projects to enjoy.
