Dear Editor: Did It Actually Happen?

Dear Editor,

"If it isn't in writing - Did it actually happen?"

One might as well ask the infamous question, "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, did it make a sound?" Or, how about, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

Obviously, the latter has little to do with the former, but seriously, all of the above have to do with memory. Not to bring religion into it, but I'm pretty sure that neither of us, nor any human being alive today, can honestly & truthfully answer the latter question.
