Huckaba Breaks 55-Year-Old WHS Long Jump Record

History was made at the Class B State Track & Field Meet in Missoula, where Whitehall High School junior Tucker Huckaba broke a school record that had stood for over five decades.

Huckaba soared 21 feet, 2.5 inches in the long jump, surpassing the previous record of 21 feet, 0.5 inches, set back in 1969.

"I've been working toward this all season," Huckaba said. "To break a record that's been around this long feels incredible."

Coaches and teammates celebrated the milestone, calling it a testament to Huckaba's dedication and athletic ability.
