Construction Nearly Complete on Whitehall's Main Roads

Construction is now substantially complete on the Whitehall Urban Pavement Preservation Project. Crews plan to return in mid-July to apply seal and cover (chip seal) over the newly paved roadway, weather and other factors permitting.

After chip seal is applied, the surface will cure for approximately a month before crews return to install permanent roadway markings.

There are no longer any length or width restrictions through the area. However, short-term lane closures may occur during chip seal and striping operations. Drivers should continue to watch for crews and follow all posted signage....
