This photo was found in the pages of a book donated to the Whitehall Community Library several months ago. The writing reads: Rhea Beard & I with 40th F53 & Eyamo Q photograph assault on Chinese held hill. This outpost in front of our VSMC Main line. We came out in an armored personnel carrier.
