REGGAE IN THE ROCKIES: About 1,100 reggae fans attended the Roots Revolution Festival at LaHood Park on July 7-9. The concert itself was essentially trouble-free, but a dispute over camping at the site caused a stir on Friday, July 7.
The Whitehall Town Council voted on July 10, 2000, to settle a salary dispute between the Town and Francine Stevison. During their monthly meeting, they also heard an update on the paving project and voted to begin another dredging of the town's sewage treatment lagoons.
