Chaos, Comedy, and...Cheese?

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is a comedic play where two narrators attempt to tell all 209 of the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tales in one fast-paced, chaotic performance. Whitehall’s community theatre group - Whitehall Theatrics - which boasts ages four to 84, will present (or try to!) these fables on Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th at the Star Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 PM, the action starts at 7 PM; tickets are $5 each.

Two narrators try to combine the stories, including classics like Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, into a single, gigantic fable. While featuring popular stories, the play also includes lesser-known tales, adding depth and variety.

The play is known for its rapid-fire pace, blending of stories, and fourth-wall breaking humor. Much like Shrek with his veiled adult humor, the play is designed to be enjoyable for audiences of all ages, with humor that appeals to both children and adults.

Don’t miss The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon - come support your family, friends, and neighbors in this massive endeavor!
