Blooms & Brushes - Art in the Gardens Tour in Ennis, MT, was a huge success in 2024 and is back in 2025. Brought to you by the Ennis Arts Association, this year's tour will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The tour includes five gardens, with an artist working on their craft and a PieceMakers of the Madison quilt at each garden. Gardens will be staffed with garden experts for garden-related questions as well. Also on the tour this year is the Historic Trinity Episcopal Church in Jeffers with its 100+ year-old stained-glass windows, where docents will explain the windows (a handout description will be available), and the pews will have 14 antique quilts displayed.
Proceeds from this Ennis Arts Association event will benefit the community in many ways; three annual college scholarships, events at The Manor nursing home, Shakespeare in the Schools performances, Madison Valley Public Library, Ennis School Science Fair Awards, and Madison Farm to Fork: Good Thyme Summer Camp are all past recipients.
Tickets are available online at https://bit.ly/4l5gwex and at 9 AM in front of the Ennis Library. Pick up brochures Saturday Aug 16th at the Madison Valley Public Library 9 AM to 1 PM, 210 E Main Street Ennis, MT 59729. PieceMakers of the Madison's purpose is to promote the knowledge and understanding of all aspects of quilting, sharing, enjoying and appreciating each others' work, and providing charity work to our community which includes: honoring our community members with Valor or Hero quilts, providing quilts and other items to people less fortunate, sewing pillowcases for inclusion in Giving Tree gifts, providing quilts to comfort Oncology patients and pediatric emergencies at MVMC, and creating and distributing beds for our furry friends at the local shelters.
