Dear Editor,
I was under the belief that Whitehall Transportation was here to assist those who live in our small community; to take people shopping, get to appointments, etc. I believe when it originally started, that was the goal.
When did all that change? When did charging elderly people $75 to go to a doctor's appointment in Butte happen?
Most of the people who need this service are on a fixed income, so how is charging $75 fair at all?
