Dear Editor,
The death of Charlie Kirk was a tragedy beyond words that shook the nation, and many questioned why the Lord would allow such an occurrence.
However, there has never been a martyr for God without a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When William Tyndale was burned at the cross, it was only then that the King of England allowed the Bible to be translated into English and shared. When Jim Elliott was martyred by the Auca Indians, the Holy Spirit caused these same Indians to share the gospel up and down the Amazon.
God loves us so much and wants us in heaven so badly that He is willing to let his sons (Christ, Charlie Kirk, etc) die so that we may be saved. Charlie Kirk’s organization has reportedly received over 32,000 inquiries since his death to start new campus chapters.
The most important decision in our lives is one that will last for eternity, which we will all face one day face. Think about where you will be then.
Respectfully,
