What is the real motivation behind the roadless rule repeal?
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's roadless conservation rule was adopted about twenty-four years ago, with 95% of the 1.6 million public comments in favor of the rule. Since then, the rule has preserved and protected watersheds, fisheries, wildlife habitats, and enhanced recreational opportunities that many Montanans enjoy.
