Dear Editor,

I would like to respond to Jim Butterbaugh’s Sad op-ed in the Whitehall Ledger.

Jim, your editorial expresses more hate. I think the Bible quotes to ”turn the other cheek.” Your opinions should be accepted as well as your friends without malice.

There are good Americans in both parties. Yes, you are right; many people have left both parties. Our Congress members of both parties, especially in Montana, never respond to our concerns. Yet we taxpayers pay their salaries to represent us.

The answer to less hate is to come together, as we all share the same issues and concerns. America...
