Jung Named Mayor-Elect

On Tuesday, November 4th, ballots were counted for the Mayoral Election for the Town of Whitehall. When Wednesday rolled around, a new Mayor had been named. Linda Jung defeated Kathleen Fike by a large margin, 161-33 unofficially.

"Thank you to all who encouraged, mentored, and supported me in my run for the town of Whitehall Mayor," Jung said.

"I was not voted in for Mayor. I am okay with that. I wish our new Mayor Linda Jung the very best," Fike said in a Facebook post. In a reply to the comment, Fike's husband said God has her exactly where he needs her.
