Jacob James Adamson, 45

It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Jacob James Adamson, 45, of Whitehall, Montana, on December 22, 2025. Born on June 24, 1980, Jake lived a life characterized by kindness and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

A proud graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in Business and Finance, Jake followed in his father's footsteps to carve out a successful career in real estate and entrepreneurship. His charming and memorable connection with Heather began in second grade, marked by an innocent yet unforgettable encounter where she pushed him into a locker and kissed him. This humorous moment became a cherished memory, as Jake would often joke that she was not only his first kiss but also his last. Heather Maddock was the true love of Jake's life; he cherished her and her children, Abi and Cash, more than anything in this world.

Those fortunate enough to know Jake will forever remember his generous heart, mischievous grin, and remarkable ability to bring people together. He had a unique talent for making others feel seen and valued through warm smiles, thoughtful words, and his steadfast presence during life's most significant moments. Jacob was the kind of man who always showed up-not just for family and friends, but for anyone who needed a helping hand. His sense of humor, coupled with a genuine care for others and a deep love for animals, left a lasting impression on all whom he encountered.

Jake is survived by his loving mother, Irene Adamson of Whitehall, his sister, Renee (Adamson) Schiller, and her children, Mikaela and Payton; the love of his life, Heather Maddock, and her children, Abi and Cash. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family who will deeply miss him. The void Jacob leaves is immense, felt not only by his family but by the many friends and loved ones whose lives he illuminated.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held in Jake's honor on June 20, 2026, in Whitehall, Montana. Further details will be shared with family and friends as this date approaches.

Jake's life was a precious gift to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to shine brightly through the stories, laughter, and love he leaves behind. He will be dearly missed.
