Ace Hardware No Longer Selling MT FWP Licenses

As of February 5, 2026, Whitehall’s Ace Hardware will no longer be selling Montana FWP licenses.

According to owner Bridget Morse, the MT FWP is transitioning to an Ambassador program and replacing the current Licensed Agents.

While Ace has been a licensed agent since 1989 and has seen many changes to the process and systems over the years, they have chosen not to be Ambassadors.

Should anyone need assistance in finding a new way to purchase licenses, Ace Hardware is still here to help, just not sell....
