GOLDEN ARCHWAY: Cord Kountz (left) of C. Kountz Fence and Dirtwork, and Kipp Keim of Shotgun Construction, built the new entry arch to the Whitehall Rodeo Grounds. The arch was part of the 4,800 feet of page wire/barbed wire fencing construction around the perimeter of the recreational facility.
Jefferson IGA store owners Diana and Don Burton are celebrating their first anniversary as store owners with a BBQ party, with donations going to the Whitehall Swimming Pool Committee for Pool Pals.
JEFFERSON VALLEY PRESENTS Performer of the Week: BARBARA HAXBY. Barbara Haxby is the secretary of the Jefferson Valley Presents (JVP) board and one of JVP's founding members. She operates her own home-based clerical company, wrote and directed 20 church plays from 1995-1999, and has been a dedicated JVP board member. She is one of the reasons the JVP play will debut June 29, 2001.
