Community Center Awarded AARP Grant - Needs Your Help Thursday, July 23rd

The Whitehall Community Center was awarded an AARP 2026 Community Challenge Grant to conduct a walking audit around the Community Center to assess the condition of the Community Center floor and surrounding sidewalks.

A community meeting will be held on Thursday, July 23rd at 10 AM starting at the Whitehall Senior Center, then moving to the Whitehall Community Center to review the walkability of the area and facility floors.

Free coffee and donuts will be provided for participants, and this will be a fun opportunity to identify and discuss ways to help make walking around the two facilities safer for all users. We also extend an invitation to anyone interested in helping to make our community a safer place.
