Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Don't Miss the Madison County Fair!

The Madison County Fairgrounds in Twin Bridges will come alive August 6-9 with four days of livestock shows, family entertainment, live music, contests, and rodeo excitement, offering something for visitors of all ages.

One of the weekend's biggest attractions is the NRA Rodeo, produced by Jacobs Livestock Rodeo, beginning at 7 PM Thursday and Friday. Both evenings will feature rookie saddle bronc and bareback riding, wild cow milking, and crowd-favorite rodeo action. Friday's performance will also celebrate Red, White and Blue Night, honoring local veterans.

The fair also shines a spotlight on the hard work of local youth through its extensive 4-H and FFA livestock program. Livestock shows begin Thursday with swine, poultry and rabbits, followed by beef competitions on Friday. The weekend culminates with the 4-H/FFA Market Animal Sale at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Grandstands Arena, where buyers will have the opportunity to support local exhibitors by purchasing market animals. The sale will also include the Junior Leader Champion Cake Sale and Buyer Appreciation BBQ.

Beyond the arena, fairgoers can enjoy family-friendly entertainment throughout the weekend, including Jerry Breeden's comedy ventriloquist performances, Mad Chad the Chainsaw Juggler, live country music, bingo, face painting, balloon twisting, the Adventure Zone, horseshoe tournaments, a ranch hand rodeo, dances, and Sunday's community parade themed "Branded in Freedom Since 1776."

With a full schedule of agricultural events, western traditions and family activities, the Madison County Fair promises another memorable weekend celebrating the community and Montana's rural heritage.
