Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Daniel Allen Glover, 76

Daniel Allen Glover, aka Dan or Danny, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 26, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on May 18, 1950, in Polson, Montana, Dan lived a life defined by love, laughter, and an unshakable devotion to his family.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, Dan proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He later built a career as a computer technician, work that suited his sharp mind and his deep curiosity about how things came together. Throughout his life, he was known for his quick wit and his ability to make anyone laugh, no matter the circumstances. He was also the one people turned to for advice, offering wisdom with a charm and grounded understanding of life that few could match.

Dan's interests were many and heartfelt. He had a lifelong love of music, especially the Beatles, and a passion for guitars, photography, and art. Yet no matter where his interests led him, they always circled back to the true love of his life, his wife, Dorothy, whom he affectionately called Dottie. Together they shared 38 years of marriage. Nothing in the world mattered more to Dan than his family, and they were the source of his greatest pride and joy. Those who knew him treasured his company and always looked forward to spending time in his presence.

Dan faced life with remarkable resilience, never giving up in the face of any obstacle, no matter how large or how small. That perseverance, paired with his warmth and humor, left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father Robert Glover, stepfather Roy Millegan Sr., mother Vera Millegan, brother Bobby Glover, sister Cherie Glover, and sister Margene Millegan. He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy Glover, his daughters CAndice Weishaar (Nelson), Brandi Leach (Cliff) and his son Andrew Glover (Jolene); his six beautiful grandchildren: Brandon Samantha, Trisha, Alexis, Rhiannon, Dazzy, Gabriel, Isaiah, in addition to his great-grandchildren Jacqueline, Malina, and Charlie, as well as his sister Barbara Glover and his brother Roy Millegan Jr. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and who will carry his memory forward with gratitude and pride.

A service will be held at a later date to be determined by his immediate family.

The family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time. Dan's spirit, his laughter, and his boundless love for Dottie and his family will remain with us always.
