Fire restrictions have been removed for lands in Jefferson County managed by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks.
FWP implemented restrictions on Jefferson County lands on Aug. 15 because of dry conditions and high fire risk.
FWP follows the county’s lead in placing fire restrictions on its properties within that county. FWP urges people to use caution while recreating due to dry conditions and fire danger. Fire restrictions are still in place for FWP lands in other counties.
