  • Op-Ed: We Need to Form a More Perfect Union

    HEATHER DENNY|Oct 22, 2025

In last week’s paper I read a rather long Op-Ed from Jim Buterbaugh entitled “The Hate I See is Sad.” I agree with Jim that there is a great deal of hate in this country right now. In the last five years FBI data shows a marked increase in anti-Asian crime, anti-Jewish crime, and anti-LGBTQ crime. • Rams Squeeze past Trojans to Win 23-20 in Overtime

    HEATHER DENNY, Whitehall Ledger|Oct 4, 2023

The Whitehall Trojan football team had a rough start on Friday, September 29 in Missoula, with the Loyola Rams scoring their first touchdown a few minutes into the game. The Trojan offense struggled to move the ball down the field and handed the ball back to Loyola with a punt. Loyola’s offense also struggled, facing a quarterback sack by #54 sophomore Dawson McDonald, before punting the ball back to Whitehall. Once again, the offense failed to move the ball down the field effectively and the f...
