The Jefferson County Spelling Bee for students in grades four through eight will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, at 6 PM at the Clancy School Gym. Please enter through the gym doors. Trophies will be awarded to first and second-place winners, and participation medals will be given to all participants. The top speller, who is also enrolled in Scripps, will be eligible to move on to the Treasure State Spelling Bee to be held Saturday, March 21, at 1 PM in Ballroom A of the Strand Union Building on the MSU campus in Bozeman. The Jefferson County Spelling Bee is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21st, at 6 PM in the Clancy School gym. Each school may send 10 contestants, except Cardwell may send 5. This competition will be live-streamed on the Clancy School Facebook page. Whitehall and Basin are the only schools in the County not participating.
