Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

For Your Information

Last Thursday, the school students made their annual shopping trip for a special child in the Whitehall area.

The Cougars hosted Harrison at 4pm that afternoon. Coach Rossiter said that they played 4 on 4 since Harrison’s enrollment has limited girls for basketball. Cardwell posted a win while using their skills conquering the zone defense. Team work and hard work helped with the win for the Cougars.

The Christmas Concert at the school is scheduled for December 21st. Hooray!, that’s the first day of winter. That means that the days will start getting longer. Days are so busy and full, sometimes it’s overwhelming. But a long time ago, in another lifetime when I was married to my ranch-man and the mother of 5 young kids, I complained about not having enough time! Dear Nonie Sacry gave me wonderful advice. “If you have too much to do today, be thankful and pray for those who have nothing to do.” It works.

Betsy Farrand is now a big sister. Baby brother, Clyde Davis, arrived November 25th at the hospital in Whitefish, Montana. Mom and Dad, Edwin and Dani, live in Eureka with Betsy and Clyde. David and Martha Farrand of Whitehall and Loren and Sheryl Yustin of McKinney, Texas are the proud grandparents.

Congratulations to Kipp and Dawn Huckaba who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on December 1st.

Be generous this holiday season with your resources.
