In addition, regular demonstrations, events, and children's activities are being planned throughout the season.

It has also been proposed that downtown businesses hold regular "Saturday Sidewalk Sales" in conjunction with the Market as a way to encourage people to spend a little more time in town and shop locally.

Board member Bethel Wagner said they are actively working to grow the Market and make it a vibrant, attractive event that benefits the whole community.

The Market will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., starting June 16th and running through October 13th. Vendor spaces are still only $5 a day, and those who are interested in participating are encouraged to call Bethel Wagner at 287-2276 or the Whitehall Garden Club at 490-1558.
